Brand Identity

The ask was simple, how do we define our smaller division of two? Our division that creates decor that not only complements the furniture, but also provides hands-on interior design services that sources the smallest (or biggest) baubles that completes the entire space.

The team challenged me to create and elevate branding and marketing assets that embodied two's friendly + playful tone, but also creates something different and unique.

Brand Logo
As a division of two, two décor, also known as 2d, is a separate division underneath two. With the team having their own process and unique vendor relationships, the challenge was how to present them as a different identity while still nodding back to two?

The result is merging two and décor. Simple; 2d stands alone, but twogether with two.
The goal was to give a nod back to two when creating 2d.

Brand Colors
The challenge here was to stay true to two's black and white branding while also giving room for 2d to have fun. The purple and teal were specifically picked, not only because they reflected the young and energetic personality of the brand, but because they contrasted well with the black and white foundation of their parent.
How can we allow 2d to customize and showcase their unique culture without straying too far from two's black & white?

Simple: let's create complimentary. colors that are unique to 2d for when they need emphasis or a little pop.

Brand Voice
I was tasked with creating the brand voice for 2d. Our voice exists in everything we do, even when words aren't involved. It defines who we are, and in the spaces we create. We build and source the little (and big) things.

Hands-on, supportive, communicative, 2d is always ready to go. Our voice seeks to match that energy and setting up that kindred spirit: The partner that can create anything you dream of.

Here are the elements that make 2d's voice unique.
